You shop among the stars, eat burritos among the stars, get stuck in traffic among the stars -- stars are always around you, and if you're even remotely cool, you play it cool around them.  My first celebrity-spotting, I trembled with excitement to see the liquid metal Terminator ahead of me in line for a smoothie.  In time, I settled down, and by the time I asked an Emmy-winning actress if she was David Spade's hairdresser, I was a veritable cucumber.  Apologetic and embarrassed, but cucumbric nonetheless.
